Online Sales Representative (Charlotte, NC)

Founded in 2001, we are venture capital funded and expanding rapidly in the busiest segment of online advertising – Local. Our service suite includes local search marketing, locally-targeted banner advertising, fixed placement ads, profile and landing page technologies, and call-related services packages. All products are privately branded and sold by a growing list of resellers in the yellow pages, newspaper, online marketing and other industries.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-energy, performance-driven Online Marketing Consultant who wants to sell the huge opportunity of local Internet advertising to local merchants, with the support of a leader in the industry. In this role, you will identify and close new business. You will be part of a sales team and contribute directly to the results of your team. This is an exciting new role, where you will focus on growing your own business by offering a highly-demanded solution, as small businesses are seeking proven solutions for their companies.
Your Measures of Success:
- Identifying and closing new business with local merchants
- Substantial revenue growth from your market
- Broad adoption by various types of local merchants
- Developed market knowledge to be able to speak/train at local or regional events

Requirements & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience making outbound calls to generate sales with small and medium businesses (SMB) such as doctors, accountants, lawyers, contractors, spas, locksmiths, movers, caterers, etc.
- Some college courses completed
- Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling
- Great oral and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated to sell and assist others
