Position Overview:

We are seeking a high-energy, performance and relationship driven Account Manager who wants to sell the huge opportunity of local Internet advertising to local merchants, with the support of a leader in the industry.  In this role, you will be responsible for the retention of revenue accounts as well as cross and up-selling new products and services to new and existing clients.  As a member of the Sales team the Account Manager will also contribute directly to the results of the Sales team and will focus on growing and maintaining their book of business by offering a highly-demanded solution, as small and mid-size business are seeking proven solutions for their companies.  This is an exciting new role, where you will focus on growing your own business by offering a highly-demanded solution, as small businesses are seeking proven solutions for their companies.

Your Measures of Success:

  • Achieving assigned sales targets of gross increase to existing clients.
  • Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations.  
  • Resolving sales and fulfillment issues.
  • Deliver quarterly quota of approximately 10% increase.  
  • Produce Pipeline and Forecast reports as needed for management.  
  • Management and development of merchant accounts and will include coordination and execution of marketing campaigns and ongoing development of new opportunities for clients.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience making outbound calls to generate sales with small and medium businesses (SMB) such as doctors, accountants, lawyers, contractors, spas, locksmiths, movers, caterers, etc.
  • Some college courses completed
  • Comfortable with maintaining a large book of business
  • Great oral and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated to sell and assist others
